I was a patient at Loyola the early morning of 9/15/12 where I was submitted into the intensive burn victim unit near a 7% chance of survival rate prior to arrival and 3% chance of LIFE upon arrival. Two Saviors, 5 Fire Departments / Police and Dr. Mosier and newer retiree Dr. Gamelli with the Whole Loyola staff worked diligently to save what they could,. My Life was the biggest part and that was the Unity of Community consisting of friends family / family friends and countless others. In some subtle fashion of much due respect I'd like to share and spread the <3 LOVE <3 with Everyone... a mere offering of my heart beat and it beats for all of you <3 thanks to you!!! For the second time participating in the Loyola Medicine 5K for Kids. (Bilateral below knee amputee) Where there's a WILL there's a Way!!! <3 -William Anthony Lowe
I am participating in the Loyola Medicine 5K for Kids on June 4 to support pediatric health care programs at Loyola University Health System. Each year, thousands of families turn to Loyola to care for their sick or injured children. By joining me or making a donation to this cuase, you are helping to celebrate health, inspire hope and become a hero for Loyola's youngest patients.
