Loyola Medicine 5K Supporting Pediatric Care & Research

As many of you know Brianna was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma Cancer back at the end of January. Brianna has now under gone 6 rounds of chemotherapy, and surgery to remove the tumor which was at the base of her femur. The Loyola surgical team performed a successful full knee replacement by removing 6" of her femur and the top of her tibia and fibula. Brianna now has a prosthetic knee and has to complete several more rounds of Chemotherapy to ensure the cancer is out of her body. Brianna is looking forward to getting back in the pool and swimming with her teammates once again in the fall.

To show our support for Brianna and all other children fighting this horrific disease we will be participating in the Loyola Medicine 5K Supporting Pediatric Care & Research on Sunday, June 4 at Loyola Medicine.
Join us and make a difference in the lives of the children and families who turn to Loyola for their care!

Not only will be helping out the research for pediatric care, but you can enjoy the day at Brookfield Zoo.

Thank you for your continued support!
